OVERVIEW:

The Arizona State University (ASU) Rob Walton College of Global Futures is a unique, transdisciplinary academic unit dedicated to creating a thriving future for all life on a healthy planet.

Serving as the primary educational arm of the larger Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory, the College moves beyond traditional academic silos to focus on complex, real-world problems. It is home to distinct schools, including the School of Sustainability, the School for the Future of Innovation in Society, the School of Complex Adaptive Systems, and the School of Ocean Futures.

The College's mission is to equip next-generation leaders with the knowledge, skills, and agency needed to tackle global challenges through hands-on, immersive learning that integrates the perspectives of innovation, complexity, and conservation.

BACKGROUND:

Recognizing the need for scalable and engaging messaging across its diverse academic and research units, the college launched a major initiative to create a dedicated illustration series. This visual asset library became central to their multi-faceted marketing efforts, serving as a powerful tool to simplify complex information and forge a deeper connection with key stakeholders.

These illustrations were strategically developed to ensure seamless communication with everyone from alumni and students to faculty and community audiences, and were meticulously created to work in strict tandem with current Arizona State University brand standards, thus bolstering brand equity and ensuring visual uniformity across all channels.
